History of ModeEsty

In 2009, Eriko Grill has produced her first promo video of ModeEsty with her Web/Graphic Design Company SavvyCool Company, www.SavvyCool.com! She wanted to share her vision, ModeEsty will bring back her childhood dream to create a new line of clothing and promote "modesty" back to our societies & fashion industries, and the consumers' buying power to make a difference in the world!

On May 1, 2009, ModeEsty has established a partnership with EDUN LIVE* headquartered in Ireland and the sub-brand of EDUN --- the socially conscious clothing company launched in the Spring of 2005 by Ali Hewson and Bono with New York clothing designer Rogan Gregory.

For instance, when you choose to purchase our EDUN LIVE brand cotton tees with ModeEsty passion-driven designs, you are not only getting a superior quality and style, but also validating the socially conscious message that seeks to spread and provide an ethical and profitable solution to those who need the financial support in the developing world.

*EDUN LIVE is a for-profit business that wishes to promote trade –not aid– to the developing world, and its mission is to drive sustainable employment in sub-Saharan Africa through high-volume sales. From the African cotton we source, to the spinning and knitting process, all the way to the manufacturer, blank t-shirts are 100% African --- or as we like to say, ‘grower-to-sewer’ African. This is a very special and unique position as very few, if any, businesses are doing the same.

In this use, it can be considered inappropriate or immodest to reveal certain parts of the body. A modest woman would not behave so as to encourage the sexual attention of men. In some societies women must cover their bodies completely and may never talk to men who are not immediate family members; in others a fairly revealing but one-piece bathing costume is considered modest when other women wear bikinis. Modesty in dress and deportment is usually encouraged by peer pressure, although a few countries enforce rigid dress codes...

Are You Curious What God Says about Modesty?

We are passionately sharing this article with you because we care about you, and we wish someone had told us when we were growing up, and God says, Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear. – Mark 4:9, NIV This is what the Lord said, I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes. For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do. – 1 Timothy 2:9-10, NLT
